Seminar "New approaches in teaching and learning: dialogue and group learning, critical thinking"

January 10, 2018 Department of further and distance education Kostanay state pedagogical Institute together with the Centre of pedagogical skills, "Nazarbayev Intellectual schools" and Cambridge University (UK) organized a seminar on three-level program on the topic: "New approaches to teaching and learning: dialogue and group training, critical thinking" for teachers of the faculty of social Sciences and Humanities, philological faculty, which was conducted by the Department of the Kazakh language and literature of philological faculty Aliyev D. A., Sasami G. A., K. A. Abdrashev.
The purpose of the seminar is to explain the updated content of secondary education in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Providing recommendations on how to improve the use of teaching methods and various tools, as well as to update the content.
In order to create conditions for professional interaction of teachers, self-improvement, stimulating the growth of the creative potential of the workshop was conducted in two directions:
- Practical lesson: "the Effectiveness of group work for improving the quality of knowledge in the context of the renewed education".
A theoretical text on this topic was given to each group on the practical training on the content of the updated content. Having studied the text for the "gallery Navigation", was carried out a group analysis of the group in cooperation protected the poster.
- Master class: "the Development of critical thinking skills using new approaches of learning dialogue."
According to the method of cynometra was shown the video "Everything is in your hands." Participants through critical thinking shared thoughts about the main purpose of the video, about her idea. The discussion was conducted live in a group and in collaboration with other teams, interviewing them using the "snowflake".
At the end of the seminar teachers shared their thoughts and opinions, made recommendations, and discussed new approaches and best practices of the lesson.
