International seminar in the framework of the joint project REKKS / SRC PEB OF THE KSPU

On may 16, 2018, Kostanay state pedagogical University held an international seminar on the topic: "Innovations in the development of methods of sustainable agricultural management in the changing climate in the dry steppes of Kazakhstan and South-West Siberia (ReKKS)". Project SRC PEB KSPU / ReKKS " Dynamics of changes in steppe ecosystems of Northern Kazakhstan under the influence of anthropogenic and climatic factors on the example of soil mesofauna and its habitat."
Responsible for the organization and holding of the seminar were the participants of the project: teachers of the faculty of Natural Sciences of the Department of natural Sciences Professor, doctor of biological Sciences Bragina Tatiana Mikhailovna, k. b. s. Professor Bragin Evgeny Aleksandrovich, master of biology, senior lecturer Bobrenko Marina Aleksandrovna and master of biology, senior lecturer Ruleva Maria Mikhailovna steering.
The seminar was attended by Vice-rector of the KSPU Smetanova Eva, Director of the Institute of soil science, Leibniz University (Hannover, Germany), President of the society of soil scientists of Germany Professor Dr. Georg Guggenberger, PhD, project coordinator ReKKS Shibistova O. B. (Institute of soil science Leibniz University (Hannover, Germany), Dean of the EMF Sukhov Mikhail Vasilyevich, head of the Department of natural Sciences Ruchkina Galiya Adgamovna and the students of 1-2 courses of the specialty "Biology", members of the project team. The working language of the seminar is English.
Welcoming speech from the KSPU leadership was made by the Vice-rector of KSPU Smetanova Eva and from the partners of Germany - George Guggenberger.
In the framework of the seminar on the draft ReKKS was made by Professor, Dr. George Guggenberger and coordinator of the project O. B. Shibistova. Scientific and applied aspects of the project, which involves two universities of the Russian Federation, three organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and 7 universities of Germany, were discussed. The goals and objectives of the research were discussed.
The second session was devoted to the discussion of international cooperation within the framework of the ReKKS project. Professor, Dr. Tatiana Mikhailovna Bragina Director of the research center for ecology and biology spoke about the details of the project SRC PEB KSPU/ ReKKS "Dynamics of changes in steppe ecosystems of Northern Kazakhstan under the influence of anthropogenic and climatic factors on the example of soil mesofauna and its habitat."
At the end of the seminar there was a discussion on issues of interest, as well as discussed the details of the upcoming expeditions to Kostanay region.
In conclusion, the guests expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the seminar, noted the importance of the planned research and international relations of KSPU with foreign partners. The importance of the seminar is obvious for all participants, but especially for students, as they have a unique opportunity to meet with leading experts abroad, to gain new knowledge and impulses for self-development, improvement of English.
