March 29-30,2013 in Almaty, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized the Republican Student Olympiad on foreign languages on the basis of the Kazakh University of International Relationsand World Languages. The competition was attended by students from 26 universities of Kazakhstan. Our specialty "Foreign language: two foreign languages" department of foreign languages represented by students of the English department Nagibina E., Mukuzhanova A. and student of the German branch of Shilyaeva E.

The Francophonie (fr. La Francophonie) – is an international organization of French-speaking countries. The main criterion for entry into the organization isn't considered the extent of French language proficiency of the commonwealth (although it is encouraged), but rather the cultural contact with France established for decades. The modern organization was created in 1970. The motto of the organization is a French dictum "Equality, complementarity and solidarity." (fr. «égalité, complémentarité, solidarité»).

Students presented a play "Masha and the Bear" to young viewers. They played a lot of cheerful games. Organizers of the action bought sweets, juice and gifts for children.
