The program of the department week was as always rich and interesting. Many activities of the department are already traditional, but new formats were used
Information sheets on modern achievements in physics, astronomy, technology, mathematics (new concepts, their meanings, applications, discoveries, hypotheses, problems-difficult situations) were hung on the doors of the auditoriums.
In the hall of the timetable, the poster "The Party" was posted - a fictional story in which "famous scientists" took part, the discoveries of which were listed in comic form. Students were asked to determine which of the scientists, in their opinion, was "forgotten", not mentioned in the list, what contribution he made to science. Their options had to be delivered to 426 cabinet.
On Monday, on April, 9 in 10.00-12.00 in a hall 4 floors passed already traditional Masterclass of "Maketon-2018" on the different types of works, organized by teachers working on speciality the "Vocational education": Komissarov S.V., Abdimominova D.K., Shagiakhmetova L. M. and Zhigitov A. B.

Demisenov Berik Nurtazinovich held an open lecture with students of the first course of the Russian branch of the specialty "Mathematics" in the discipline "Algebra and theory of numbers" on "Ring of polynomials", whose aim was the formation of the basic concepts on the subject from the point of view of simple algebraic and simple transcendental extensions of rings.

Students actively participated in solving problematic issues, tried to answer the questions, and asked additional questions to the teacher.
The tasks of the occupation had been implemented, and objectives achieved. The lecture was held at a high level.
From 14.30 to 16.00 in lecture hall 429 was held Intellectual game "Technician-2018" (Responsible and leading the Zhigitow A.B., master of pedagogy and psychology, senior lecturer).
Engineering brain-ring between the teams of students of 1-3 courses of specialties "Vocational education", "Mathematics", "Physics" and a team of teachers had a strictly directed technical topics and was organized in accordance with all the rules of this type of events. The game was held on the Olympic system: the losing team was eliminated from the game.
All questions were related to the technique, the history of creation and their features. Brain ring was held on three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English
In the first round between teams of students of specialty "Physics" "Super physicist" and teachers "Kuzinatra" defeated the faculty team and reached the final.
In the second round between the teams of students majoring in Mathematics "Avengers" and specialty "Vocational education" the winner was the team "Avengers". And in the final in the course fierce struggle with-sum game 4:3 victory won team teachers "Kuzinatra", confirming its status.
The winner's Cup was awarded to the team "Avengers", adequately kept to the end.
On Tuesday, April 10 at 10.00-12.00 and 15.00-17.00 in lecture hall 417 Olympiad in astronomy and cosmology was held with students of 1-3 courses (responsible Telegina O. S., seniuor lecturer, Kasymova A. G., associate Professor). Number of participants: 15.
The Olympiad was held in order to identify the quality of training of students, improve their skills, consolidate and deepen the knowledge and skills obtained in the process of teaching mathematics, physics and astronomy in the relevant field of training (specialty), stimulate creative growth, identify gifted students and the formation of human resources for research and production activities.
- improvement of skills of independent work and development of creative thinking;
- development of the ability to solve problems in the field of professional activity independently and most effectively;
- popularization of scientific knowledge among students.
Students of specialty 5B011000-Physics of 2 and 3 courses of Kazakh and Russian departments took part in the Olympiad:
- group Physics 16-11 (2 course, Kazakh department) - 5 people;
- group Physics 16-21 (2 course, Russian department) - 3 people;
- group Physics 15-11 (3 course, Kazakh department) - 2 people;
- group Physics 15-21 (3 course, Russian department) - 5 people.
The participants were asked to perform five tasks, the solution of which was to demonstrate the knowledge gained in astronomy classes at school and University, the ability to solve non-standard tasks, work with texts, analyze the results.

The organization and holding of the Olympiad was carried out according to the regulations developed by the organizing Committee. The tasks were provided according to the applications of the participants in Kazakh and Russian languages. The allotted time to complete the tasks was enough, the complexity of the tasks corresponded to the level of participants.
In order to improve the conduct of such events, at the end of the Olympiad was conducted a survey of students, which showed that the tasks proposed for the implementation, were interesting for the participants.
When checking it turned out that the students tried to solve all the tasks. The most difficult tasks were space dynamics and observations. Almost all respondents were interested in working with photos of starry sky objects.
However, not all participants completed the tasks at the Olympiad level. Students of 2 and 3 courses of Kazakh Branch gave brief answers (as answers to tests), without substantiating them, so the points for their work were reduced.
Having analyzed the decisions, the jury summed up the results:

At 15.30-16.20 in lecture hall 429 was held an Open lecture in English senior teacher, of master of pedagogy and psychology Zhigitov Alibek Bekezhanovich on the subject "Theorical bases of engineering science" on the topic "Introduction to Dynamics" with the students of 2 courses of the specialty "Vocational education" of the Kazakh branch.
The aim of this lesson was to familiarize students with the basics of the dynamics of the material point, acquaintance with the basic laws of Newton, as well as examples of practical application of the basic law of dynamics.
The lesson was attended by five teachers and employees of our Department.
The lecture began with an Apple and a story about how much an Apple means to a person's life, as well as the role of an Apple in the history of mankind.
The lecture was distinguished by an interesting presentation, examples from the history of the discovery of the basic laws of dynamics, examples of practical application of the basic law of dynamics. The lecture material was issued in English by all the rules in the presentation.
During the lesson, the teacher showed his level of knowledge of the English language, extraordinary charisma, the use of modern methods of activating interest in the classroom through online testing (checking the knowledge of the teacher and the quality of learning a new topic by students). Students characterized by high activity in the lesson.
The lecture was held at a high methodological level. The objectives are achieved, the tasks of the occupation performed.
On Wednesday, April 11 at 14.30-15.20 (lecture hall 417) senior teacher Telegina O. S. held a traditional curatorial hour "Development of cosmonautics: history and modernity of Kazakhstan" dedicated to the world day of aviation and cosmonautics with 3rd course students.
The objective is to popularize the achievements of space exploration.
At the curatorial hour, students spoke about the Baikonur cosmodrome (history and the most significant launches) and about artificial earth satellites that belong to the RK. The messages were accompanied by slides of the electronic presentation. The guests shared their memories of important events in space exploration, including those related in one way or another to Kazakhstan and, in particular, to Kostanay earth. Students and guests were invited to the newspaper "Lenin's path" for 14, 15 and 16 April 1961, in which the material is placed on the first space flight (appeal of Yuri Gagarin, the messages of the Soviet government, congratulatory messages of foreign States, the experience of the workers of the city and the region). Was attended by members of the Department, Akhmetova A. S. and Abdimominova D. K., and guests: Samarkin S. V. and Shaymaganbetova A. H.
At 16.30-17.20 in the lecture hall 412 was held the traditional Video contest on the theme "My profession is a teacher!" With student groups of 1-3 courses (responsible Dospulova U. K., senior lecturer, Askanbaeva G. B., senior lecturer).
The purpose of the event: to promote the development of creative abilities of students.
Students were supposed to present their vision of themselves in the teacher's profession in a playful manner. The video should take no more than 5 minutes.
This year, in addition to the student groups of the specialty "Mathematics", students of the specialties "Physics" and "Vocational education" took part in this competition. To participate in the contest have filed eleven groups: 11 Mathematics, Kazakh branch, 22 Mathematics, Russian department, 22 Mathematics, multilingual department, 21 Mathematics, Kazakh branch, 32 Mathematics, Russian department, 31 Mathematics, Kazakh branch, the 42 Mathematics, Russian department, 41 Mathematics, Kazakh branch, 22 Physics, Russian department, 21 Physics, Kazakh branch, 31 Vocational education, Kazakh branch.
In their videos, students used computer graphics, used various computer programs and showed their knowledge in the field of information technology.
The student works reflected interesting stories from the professional life of the teacher, where their abilities as writers, Directors and actors were revealed.

Thursday, April 12, from 09.30-15.00 on the natural-mathematical faculty student scientific-practical conference "Teaching natural-mathematical and technical subjects at school", devoted to Day of workers of science (Executive Kalzhanov M. U., associate Professor, Shevchenko I. M., senior lecturer).
According to the work plan of the Department of Physics and Mathematics and General Technical Disciplines at 16.30-17.20 in the lecture hall A-203 was held a Meeting with graduates of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and specialists of the education Department of akimat of Kostanay city (responsible for the event Candidate of physico-mathematical sciences, associate Professor Kalzhanov M.U.).
On Friday, April 13 at 11.30-12.20 in the lecture hall 404 senior teacher Abdimominova D. K. with the students of the specialty "Vocational education" held a curatorial hour "Діни экстремизмның алдын алу".
Purpose: to acquaint students with the concept of "extremist activity", to reveal its essence and various aspects of manifestation, to instil a spirit of intolerance to aggression, violence, ethnic strife; to develop a tolerant, friendly attitude towards people, regardless of their nationality, religion, social affiliation, tastes and interests; to foster an understanding of the inadmissibility of extremist moods, as they lead to terrorism, local wars and the split of society.
The curatorial hour was attended by acting head of department of physical-mathematical and common technical disciplines Telegina O. S., senior lecturers, Shagiakhmetova L. M, Zhigitov A. B.
Thematic curatorial hour was held in the form of a round table. At first, we set the purpose of the curatorial hours. Then the students worked in small groups to define the term "extremist activity". The following issues were discussed: what is religious extremism, the meaning of the term, the causes of the occurrence, the nature of the consequences, goals, means of countering. The historical aspects and reasons for the adoption of The law "on countering extremist activity"are also considered. During the General discussion and summing up the results of the round table, students once again convinced of the wisdom of the Kazakh people and its President Nursultan Nazarbayev, thanks to which our country has never had conflicts on an international and interdenominational basis.
The event was, as always with Dildash Capparovna, very well organized, the goals and objectives of the round table have been achieved. All the students showed enthusiasm, concern and understanding of the relevance of such events.
16.30-19.20 in lecture hall A-203 completed the Week of the Department of traditional, one of the largest events, favorite teachers and students – a Grand show "Mathematical auction", which is attended by students of all four courses of specialty "Mathematics" and which are prepared more than one day. Responsible for the event - teachers of mathematical disciplines of the department. The purpose of the event: to promote the development of creative potential, emancipation of students, further consolidation of the team.
"Mathematical auction" began with a traditional flash mob of teachers and mathematicians. Permanent member of the auction is Associate Professor, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Demisenov B. N. exhibited on the "sale" lots with original names, which were mathematically picked up by teachers, and students of all courses took an active part in the drawing of the lots offered by the teachers.
Among the lots, for example, were "Cat in a bag" (subscription to the whole group in the cinema "Kazakhstan" for 15 people), a lot of baking their own cooking (cakes, pies, baursaks, baklava), cooking (pizza, fruit and berry pies, pancakes), juices. One of the main unofficial prizes was beshbarmak. As incentive prizes handed out chocolates, boxes of candies, fruit, etc.
Students prepared numbers in different genres: songs, dances, author's poems and songs, scenes, dombra and guitar playing, comic numbers about the educational process with the involvement of teachers, etc.
At the "Mathematical Auction" came the teachers who previously worked in the university (now NIS employees): Sanalin S . M., Musabekova M. M., Iskakova U. A., who also exhibited their lots.
In total, 22 lots were raffled. The most active were the students of 2-4 courses. As always, 4th year students were the most active, as for them it was the last auction at the university. Their performances they tried to convey gratitude to teachers and University for all four years of study. It was a kind of farewell. The spirit of unity, friendship and creativity was present in the hall.
In the auction break Dean of the Natural-mathematical faculty Sukhov M. V., acting head of department of physical-mathematical and common technical disciplines Telegina O. S., senior lecturers Dospulova U. K. and Askanbaeva G. B. summarized the results of the Olympiad on astronomy and Astronautics and also video competition.
The winners were awarded with diplomas and gifts. Sukhov, M. V. expressed a General view that it was an unforgettable magical show, which never leaves anyone indifferent.
All open events were attended by teachers and guests of the department.
Thus, the plan for carrying out the methodological week of the department of physical, mathematical and general technical disciplines has been fully implemented. All events were held at a high scientific and methodological level.
