Department of testing and monitoring of education quality
The objective of the Department:
- Active implementation of modern forms of students' knowledge control in the educational process.
Functions of the Department:
- Carries out the organization of test control at all levels: current, boundary and intermediate.
- Creates a Bank of test tasks: for exams of disciplines, for certification of students for the safety of knowledge, for expert testing of students' knowledge, for intra-University certification of departments.
- Studies the validity of test items (reliability, difficulty index, difference index, substantive validity).
- Develops testing technology, its software; carries out pedagogical diagnostics: quality monitoring training at the Institute, self-assessment of the quality of training and teaching.
- Participates in the external evaluation of learning achievements under the leadership of the National testing center.
- Organizes consultations, trial testing in preparation for the external evaluation of learning achievements.
- Conducts preparatory work for the external evaluation of learning achievements on full-time and correspondence Department (registration of lists, passes, classroom Fund, etc.).
- Monitors the results of the external evaluation of learning achievements, develops on the basis of its recommendations to improve the learning process at the Institute.
- Organizes training of teaching staff on the use of new technological learning tools in the educational process.
