In the money box of sports trophies of the faculty of physical culture, sports and tourism of Kostanay State Pedagogical University there are two more gold medals. He won the 2nd year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sport". He was a Master of Sport of the international class, the gold medalist of the VI International Games "Children of Asia", the winner of the Asian Asian Paralympic Games (United Arab Emirates), the bronze World Cup Paralympic Powerlifting Champion, repeated winner of the championships of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Tursynay activist not only in sports - this year the girl became the second vice-miss of the contest "Miss Virtual Kazakhstan-2018".
From December 8th to December 14th in Dubai (UAE) played the Junior Asian Paralympic Games. The student of the 1st course of the specialty Physical culture and sport, the world class master of sports on powerlifting Kabyl Tursunay took part in them! More than 800 athletes from around the world have participated in this competition! On December 11 Tursunay has won a gold medal in a press of a bar lying, having shown result of 51 kg in weight category to 41 kg. The gold medal became the first in the history of the Kazakhstan youthful Paralympic sport! Also she has received honor to be flagonosets at the opening ceremony of competitions!
Students of faculty of physical culture, sport and tourism not only carry out the training program on the specialties, but also increase the professional level, leaving on training camps and on competitions of different level. So, Krestova Anastasia, the student 3 courses of specialty "Physical culture and sport" have taken the 3rd place on the international World Cup on short track which passed in Seoul (South Korea). As it is reported on the website of National Olympic Committee on November 23 after the termination of a series of the World Cup stages, the International Union of Skaters of ISU has distributed quotas in short track for participation in the XXIII winter Olympic Games of 2018 in Pyeongchang.
From November 15 to November 19 to Seoul (South Korea) there took place the kettlebell sport World Cup. The student of the 2nd course of specialty "Physical culture and sport" of the Kostanay state pedagogical institute, the Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kangash Ilya have taken the 1st place. Ilya acted in weight category up to 95 kg. Preparation for this World Cup was systematic, so Ilya was a silver prize-winner of the World Cups already three times. Thus the victory was deserved and fair. We congratulate Ilya and we wish sporting and educational achievements.
The 1st year student of the specialty "Physical education and Sport" Lipokurov Arthur took part in the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in artistic gymnastics, which was held on October 9-14, 2017 in Almaty. In the all-round sports gymnastics such kinds as: gymnastic rings, supporting jump, parallel bars, crossbeam. Participants from Almaty, Astana, South Kazakhstan, Shymkent and Kostanay took part in the competitions.
This year a summer student's Universiade Mr. Taldy-Korgan accepts the Zhetysusky state university of I. Zhansugurov. On their base free-style wrestling, sambo, boxing, judo competitions of students, to archery, rugby, beach volleyball and weightlifting are held. The Kostanay state teacher training college has participated in free-style wrestling and sambo competitions which took place on the basis of the Zhetysu state university during the period from October 8 to October 11.
We congratulate students of faculty of physical culture, sport and tourism - prize-winners of the championship of the Kostanay region on the kettlebell sport which has passed on October 5-7, 2017 in the city of Kostanay: Kangash Ilya (up to 95 kg) - 1 place, Sysolyatin Oleg (up to 78 kg) - the 2nd place, Boger Dmitry (up to 68 kg) - the 2nd place, Turmin Sergey (up to 85 kg) - the 3rd place, Mishchenkov Nikolay (up to 63 kg) - the 3rd place, Mishchenkov Vasily (up to 73 kg) - the 3rd place.
Congratulations to the fourth-year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports" Kovalev Vlad, who took the third place at the championship in Chelyabinsk on ski races in the classical style. The championship was held on January, 14-15 in Chelyabinsk on the Karpov Pond ski track. Distance in the classical style was 15 km. Among 300 rivals, our student managed to break into the top three!

From February 6 to February 17 in Almaty there had taken place the VI winter Universiade of RK among higher educational institutions, RK devoted to the 25 anniversary of Independence. The team of the Kostanay state pedagogical institute had taken the honourable 4th place among 144 teams from 34 higher education institutions of RK.
