Social initiatives proposed by the Head of State N.A. Nazarbayev and received wide publicity in the media, society and world politics. So, on March 20, 2018, students and teachers of the Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute discussed a new presidential program document on the dialogue platform:” Five social initiatives of the President are a major step on the way of social modernization”, which organized and conducted by the Chair of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. These initiatives of the President have affected the sphere of housing, education, business and gasification.
On the basis of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Philological Faculty of the Eurasian National University after L.N. Gumilyov (Astana) on the March, 20th, 2018 the Republican Student Olympiad in English was organized among students of 1st and 2nd year of non-linguistic specialties, dedicated to the revival of the spiritual values of the youth of Kazakhstan. According to the results of the Olympiad, the third place was taken by the second-year student of the specialty "History" - S. Kozhamberdiev with the technical support of the 3rd year student of the specialty "History" - Adyrbaeva Zh.
Cathedra ANK with region’s support of Kazakhstan Assembly Nation spent meet with the students of first course 14 march of 2018 with the goal of realization republic’s program «Rukhani Zhangiru» and with the framework project «Большая страна – большая семья» Kazakh model of public accord and nationwide unity of Nursultan Nazarbayev presented for student at the meeting. Within the framework of the project “Rukhani jangiru” the Department of the Assambly of the People of Kazakhstan and the Russian language and Literature held an event “spiritual continuity of national traditions during the celebration of Nauryz”. It was attended by 1st year students, and the guests of the event were Chinese students who listened with great interest to the history of this holiday, what customs and rituals are used. Nauryz is a holiday of kindness, on this day the dastarkhan is forced by a lot of national dishes.
On March 14, 2018, the director of the Kostanay College of Social Education, doctor of Philology, professor, professional mediator Kadralinova Mariyash Tleugabylovna conducted the lecture in the School of Mediation and National Diplomacy. On the eve of International women's day on 8 March, the students of the specialty "Fine arts and drawing" in the framework of the social project "Ainalain" held a festive event in the children's home family type children. Students held master classes. Flower arrangements handmade, made by students, pleased the children. Head of social project Casebolt A. J. and the students of 1-3 courses gave the children sweets. Akvagrim has already become a tradition for the children of the orphanage.

On March 4, 2018, within the framework of the Week of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, a round table was held on the theme "Model of teaching history in a modern school through the prism of the updated content of education", organized by the teachers Bekmagambetova M.Zh., Anasova A.B., Isenov O.I. The purpose of the event: discussion and analysis of the correspondence of the contents of textbooks on the history of the renewed cycle and the training program, as well as the use of methods and technologies of instruction. The dean of the social and humanitarian faculty Shahaman Z.B., took part in the work.
March 1, 2018 within the week of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, an intellectual game was held among the students of the city schools. The competition was dedicated to the 1st of March - Thanksgiving Day, the Ruhani zharyro program and the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Astana. This competition was organized by the teachers of the chair Elkey N.N. and Muratly Dastan. Experts and methodologists of the educational and methodical department were invited to the intellectual game. Three teams took part in the game - "Alғyrlar" from the secondary school №15, "Dostyk" from the secondary school №115 and "Altyn қanat - Aқ Orda" from the secondary school №17.
March 1, 2018 in the Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute, the exhibition of the senior lecturer of the Department of "Arts" Ordasheva M.Zh., dedicated to the "Thanksgiving Day" was held.
