From November 29 to December 5 at the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism held a competition of posters dedicated to the international day of the fight against AIDS. The organizers of the competition were the dean's office and the curators of the student groups. The purpose of this event is to popularize knowledge about the dangers of these diseases and to conduct prevention among university students. The urgency of the problem of HIV / AIDS lies in the fact that this disease is not only a medical problem. Its distribution, affects all areas of society and concerns each of us.
On January 4, 2018, the teaching staff of the Department of Theory and Practice of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism took part in an international scientific and practical seminar (on-line) on the theme "Physical culture, sports and tourism in the system of training specialists in the field of information and communication technologies". The object Olympic Games in "Physical culture and sport" are successfully prepared and held among students of 3 and 4 courses of the Kazakh and Russian separations on full-time courses. The coordinator of the Olympic Games is Ogiyenko I.V., the senior teacher of department of TIPFKSIT. Also members of department of TIPFKSIT – Ogiyenko N.A. have been involved in this action., Malshakova V.V., Gurskaya I.F., Pletnyova A.G., Shkvarenko N.S., Kudarov R.E. Applications for participation in the Olympic Games have given 6 commands, it has been allowed before participation - 5 teams.
At faculty of physical culture, sport and tourism as well as on all other pedagogical specialties the discipline "Professional reference points of the teacher" is conducted. The purpose of this discipline - acquaintance of students with new techniques, new approaches in the organization and carrying out studies both at school, and during the organization of training process. On November 9, during the working visit to Kostanay region, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev visited the Academy of Power Sports. Among the organizers of the meeting with the President was the senior lecturer of the chair, Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Powerlifting Igor Shilov. At the meeting weightlifters from several districts of the region, and the city of Kostanay were represented. The meeting was also attended by four-time world weightlifting champion Ilya Ilyin.

Ryaskin Victor Mikhaylovich works at the Kostanay state pedagogical institute since 1971 from the moment of the termination of the Kazakh state institute of physical culture in Almaty in physical culture and sport - the basketball coach.
