The priority direction of the faculty of psychology and education is vocational guidance of students, familiarization with the world of professions. According to the established plan of work aimed at assisting the student in choosing a career, the curators of groups Zhandauovoy Sh. E. and D. H. Kushmurzina cossarini the students of the 1st course of the specialty "Preschool training and education" and 2nd year students specialty "Pedagogy and methodology of elementary education" (Kazakh Department) during the winter vacations held vocational guidance work.
There are only a few days left before the old new 2019, and a new year's fairy tale was held in the center of support for children in difficult life situation in Kostanay. And this fairy tale was presented by students of the Department of preschool and primary education of the educational program "Pedagogy and MNO" 4 course, which organized a matinee with the participation of Santa Claus, snow Maiden and different fairy-tale characters. Students have a good goal-to give joy to children who have no parents. Santa Claus and snow maiden lit the lights on the tree, stood together with everyone in the dance.
In everyone's life there comes a time when you have to decide where to continue your education. In December 2018, senior teachers of the Department of psychology and defectology of Kostanay State Pedagogical University named after U. Sultangazin B. H. Kairova and A. H. Usembayeva met with the purpose of professional orientation and increasing public awareness on the issue of continuing education with the students of the medical College of the city of Kostanay. In the auditorium of the College teachers presented to the audience media material about the faculty of psychology and education.
November 22 and December 5, 2018 y., students of the specialty "Psychology" 3 course kazakh department and 4 course russian department under the guidance of teachers of the Department of psychology and defectology Demisenova Sh.S. and Akhmetbekova Z.D. for students of 1 and 4 courses of specialties "Defectology", "Pedagogy and Psychology" and "Psychology" a training was held on the International Day for Tolerance. The training is aimed at stimulating students' imagination in search of their own understanding of tolerance and the development of the ability to communicate with people.
November 26, 2018 at the Department of psychology and defectology held a meeting of students with psychologist School-gymnasium №3 Pryakhin E. A. As a young specialist with experience of up to 5 years, Evgeny Alexandrovich already has a number of relevant practical developments, which are successfully used in professional activities. In November 2018, Almaty hosted the Republican stage of the contest "the Best psychologist of the year", where Evgeny Alexandrovich demonstrated his own experience of practical work.
On November 22, 2018, a specialized inter-district juvenile court of the Kostanay region held a seminar - training on the topic “The Basics of Family Conflictology and Work with Families at the Divorce Stage.” The training was conducted by Kosyuk Nina Borisovna, a practicing psychologist, and a teacher at the Department of Psychology and Defectology, Psychological and Pedagogical Faculty, KSPU. U.Sultangazina Grigorova Julia Borisovna. The seminar was also attended by students of 1-3 courses of the specialty "Psychology".
On November 20 and 22, 2018, a seminar on the theme “The development of emotional intelligentsia among students as a condition for successful employment” was organized and conducted for 4th year students of the psychological-pedagogical faculty. The seminar was conducted by Andrea Baranovska, PhD, a psychologist, a doctor of psychological sciences from Slovakia, and St. Cyril and Methodius University of Tarnav. The purpose of the seminar: to teach students to effectively use emotions to control themselves and influence in a positive way on the result of relationships.
On 16 th November for creative useful life and to acquire some aims was training called «Motivation and confidence». In that activity was organized by YermaganbetovaAkbota Zhanalikovna, master of humanitarian sciences, in department of pedagogy and project by students that’s called ‘“NEWdem” developing students ambitions’. In the training by pleasing motivational actions and students experience with new in spearing books. During motivational training, students learned about seven ways to achieve a goal, how to properly distribute their time and many other motivational exercise.
From 5 to 16 November 2018 at the faculty of psychology and pedagogy was held intra - University stage of the Olympiad in psychology among students of 2-3 courses of specialties "Psychology", "Pedagogy and psychology". The essence of the stage was to perform tasks in psychology, having both theoretical and practical orientation. Students had to answer questions of test tasks on disciplines of a psychological cycle, and also to solve the offered psychological situations with justification of the chosen way of the decision.
Year after year Student’s startup projects count are developing in our university. This year, under the guidance of a master of humanitarian sciences, in department of pedagogy and startup project by students that's called Yermaganbetova Akbota Zhanalykovna, the startup project ““NEWdem” developing student's ambitions”. The advertising project in the projects of developing media-education of students, established a direct contact with the regional television.
