March 29, 2019, the Department of Natural Sciences in the framework of the regional scientific-practical conference "The mission of the young generation in science and education: traditions, innovations" in conjunction with the trainers of the branch of the Private Enterprise "Center for Teaching Excellence" AOO NISH Kostanay: Murzagaliyeva AE, Sagadiyeva B.K., Ardabaeva B., K., Buraga O.V. organized and conducted a training seminar on the topic: “From the teacher’s research skills to the student’s research skills”. The event was attended by 4-year students of specialties in natural and mathematical faculty.
On March 28, 2019, the Department of Natural Sciences held a Regional Scientific and Practical Conference “Mission of the Young Generation in Science and Education: Traditions, Innovations”. She brought together young researchers - students, undergraduates, novice teachers - from Almaty, Uralsk, Petropavlovsk, Aktobe, Kostanay, Rudny, Arkalyk, wishing to state the directions, results and prospects of their activities. The aim of the conference was to promote the creation of conditions for the development and practical realization of the innovative potential of the younger generation of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
March 23, 2019 came to the end of the industrial practice of the 4th course. March 19, 2019 in Kostanay specialized orphanage - boarding school №2 for orphans and children left without parental care, the education department of Akimat of Kostanay region held a festive event “Kosh keldіn Nauryz!”. March 14, 2019 the Department of natural sciences students of 3 course of the specialty «Geography» in cooperation with the curators Baimaganbetova К.T., Kosmukhamedova А.S, organized and held the festive event devoted to the spring holiday Nauryz. Students 1 course of Biology, Chemistry, Geography together with curators Gubenko M.A., Kubeev M. S., Ruchkina G.A., Akhmetova E.B., decorated the foyer of the 8th floor of the Yurt. The celebration was accompanied by concert performances, showing national customs and traditions.

1 March at the natural-mathematical faculty held an open day for pupils of graduation classes of schools of the city and Kostanay region. To students were made by the Dean of natural-mathematical faculty Shumeyko T. S., office of career planning and public services of the University, heads of departments of EMF. The guests were presented an exhibition of art creativity of students majoring in vocational training, shown the work of students majoring in computer science. On February 28, 2019, the Natural-Mathematical Faculty conducted an intellectual game “We are the Children of the Great Steppe”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the KSPU, as part of the Year of Youth. It was held among the students of the departments of the Natural-Mathematical Faculty with the aim of popularizing local history knowledge and history of the KSPU. The game covered the following topics: history of Kostanay region (architectural and historical monuments, culture, art), interesting events, famous personalities and traditions, geography of Kostanay region, history of the formation and development of Kostanay State Pedagogical University and Natural-Mathematical Faculty.
The open lesson Tauakelov Chingis Aydargazievich (Department of Natural Sciences) held on February 28, 2019 on the subject: «Development of methods of complicating the educational material of the course of chemistry in accordance with the age characteristics of students» сaused a lively discussion. The lesson was devoted to the development of methods for studying inorganic acids, designed to reflect the principle of helicity in learning. Excellent technical support of the seminar (presentation, video clips), along with a demonstration experiment, left a good impression on those present.
