Students of the Department of natural Sciences, NMF KSPU specialty "Geography" November 22, 2018 took part in the international youth scientific and practical conference organized by the Rudnyi industrial Institute. The purpose of the conference is to attract young people to consider the transition of the Republic of Kazakhstan to a new model of economic growth. The program of the scientific-practical conference included 4 sections, where topical issues of youth potential contribution to the modernization of Kazakhstan were discussed. As a result of the work of each section of the conference was awarded diplomas for the best reports on research topics.
November 21, 2018 at the Department of natural Sciences of the faculty of natural Sciences and mathematics was an intellectual quest "journey of resourceful geographers", dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was organized by the master of geography, the teacher of Baimaganbetov, the Participants of the game were the students of the 2nd and 3rd courses of the specialty "Geography". Carrying out such a geographical quest was aimed at identifying the intellectual potential of students, their knowledge of geography, as well as the disclosure of creative abilities.
On November 21, 2018, a meeting of students of the specialty 5В011300 - Biology, 5В011200 - Chemistry with Doctor of Chemistry, Professor of the Perm State Humanitarian-Pedagogical University Kozminykh Vladislav Olegovich was held at the Department of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. A lecture was given on the topic “Chemical education and scientific research in the field of synthetic and structural organic chemistry: main directions, achievements and prospects”.
In the framework of a healthy lifestyle 21.11.2018 the Department of natural Sciences, Faculty of mathematics and natural Sciences organized a meeting of students of 1-3 courses of specialty "Biology", "Geography" with the head of Department of epidemiological supervision of management of protection of public health, doctor of the highest category Kostanai Dunkaroos Raushan Aydarhanova. The lecturer discussed the main causes of SARS, AIDS diseases and measures for their prevention. During the conversation, the lecturer increased the level of awareness of students about the spread of HIV/AIDS in the world and Kazakhstan, focused the attention of students on reliable information about the ways of HIV/ AIDS transmission, as well as responsible attitude to their own safety and the safety of others.
On November 19, 2018, in Astana, she participated as a participant in the final stage of the Republican contest for the best research project on the Kazakhstan model of social harmony and national unity, N.A. Nazarbayev, conducted by the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan, and The project “Developing a learning application in the Android system” was chosen as one of the top 10 projects based on the selection of a competition.
November 9, 2018 according to the results of refresher courses for faculty members of higher educational institutions who provide training for teachers in the context of updating the content of secondary education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, developed by the center of pedagogical skills of the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools AOO, teachers of the Department of Natural Sciences Suyundikova Zh.T. Baubekovoy G.K. a methodical seminar was held on the topic “The use of methods for formative evaluation within the updated curriculum content”.
On November 6, 2018, students of the Department of natural Sciences, specialty "Geography" Kairat Ayaulym, Esenalina Aigerim took part in the student scientific and practical conference: "The role of tenge in the formation of sovereign Kazakhstan", held by Kostanay branch of RSI "National Bank of Kazakhstan". The subject of the claimed report on the topic: "Analysis of natural objects reflected in the design of the tenge,"performed under the direction of Baybakova G. K., master of pedagogical education, Omarova K. I. master of geography, go through the qualifying stage among the 32 scientific papers presented by the Universities of Kostanay region.
The Department of natural Sciences of the faculty of natural Sciences and mathematics organized and held a round table on the theme: "Priority of youth-education" within the framework of discussion of the directions of the article of the Head of state "Look into the future: modernization of public consciousness"on 08.11.2018. The event was organized with the purpose of the opportunity to discuss the modern reforms in the educational process - the updated program of secondary education on the example of the Nazarbayev intellectual school of physics and mathematics in Kostanay, the role and importance of teachers in Kazakhstan, the effectiveness of educational practices.

On October 24, 2018, a traditional tour of first-year students of the specialty “Geography” of the Russian and Kazakh departments to the Geological Museum of the MD “SevKaznedra” took place. The head of the museum, Vera Petrovna, acquainted our students with the history of the creation of the museum, the diversity of its exhibits. So students learned that the geological museum was created in 1956 for purely professional purposes - accounting and storage of geological collection materials. It contains tens of thousands of samples, including rare minerals.
