From January 5 to March 30, 2018, within the framework of the social project "Digital Kazakhstan" courses were held for workers in the rear and veterans of retirement age. 10 people received certificates. The courses were conducted at the gymnasium of M. Gorky. A social project for pensioners was developed at the Kostanay State Pedagogical University in conjunction with the City Council of Veterans. March 30 at the Department of natural Sciences was held the final conference on the results of practical training of 4th year students. In the period from January 15 to March 24 33 students were sent to more than ten educational institutions of the city and Kostanay region. Industrial practice is an important stage in the life of the graduation course, as it contributes to the further formation of professional skills necessary for the teacher in the work of teaching biology and education of young people, the development of students ' interest in the profession of a teacher, the formation of an independent and creative approach to the functions of a biologist.
On March 29, 2018 at physical and mathematical faculty in audience 404 there has taken place the total conference on student teaching of students of the 4th course of specialty "Vocational education" who underwent student teaching from January 15 to March 24 in schools of Kostanay (School a gymnasium of S. Maulenov) and at the place of residence. Summing up the results of acquisition and understanding by students of experience of pedagogical activity when performing the main functions of the teacher and also class teacher was a main objective of a conference.

On March 29, 2018 at 12:00 at department of physical and mathematical and all-technical disciplines of natural and mathematical faculty in audience 429 (laboratory of robotics) the online conference on the subject "Basic Principles of STEAM Education" has taken place. The conference was held on the platform of YouTube. Main objectives of holding the Conference –is formation and support of system of effective teaching within STEAM and also distribution of the best practices and exchange of opinions on the matter.
26.03.2018 docent Vazheva N.V. held an open lecture on the theme "Biosynthesis of DNA on the DNA-matrix–areplication" in the discipline "Biochemistry" for chemistry students of the 3rd year. The topic of the lecture is related to the processes of transferring hereditary information before cell division; it touches the innermost secrets of the living.The lecture was held in the form of a discussion with the students on the problem of DNA biosynthesis. In the reports of students, the history and the episodes of the first studies on the mechanism of DNA replication, the work of A. Cornberg and R. Okayama were presented.
