December 22, 2017 Department of Natural Sciences KSPI received guests from the school - Gymnasium No. 5 in Rudny. Pupils of the 2nd grade visited the Museum of Paleontology at the Department of Natural Sciences together with their teachers O.V. Otto and T. Bereziy. The students listened to the senior lecturer S.I. Kurlov with great interest and examined unique specimens of the museum which collected and systematized under the guidance of professor Yu. V. Perezhogin. Students enthusiastically told and asked questions about the plant and animal life of their native land and archaeological finds and the possibilities of new discoveries.
On December 20, 2017, the 1st year students of the specialty "Geography" organized a tour of the 8th grade "B" SGC of the I.Altynsarin to the geological museum as part of the implementation of the 1st stage of the social project "Kostanay - Altyn besigym". The purpose of the excursion is to acquaint students with the variety of rocks, minerals, minerals of the Kostanay region. The head of the museum, Vera Petrovna, told and showed to schoolchildren samples of geological, paleontological materials. These are the bones of ancient elephants and the teeth of mammoths.
The Independence Day is the main holiday of our state. This day each citizen of our homeland remembers how we have reached the main property of the country – Nazvisimosti. Learns to appreciate it, to respect and be proud. The concert program passing on December 15 in the dormitory No. 1 of Kostanay has been devoted to this holiday. This action has been organized by students of natural and mathematical faculty of KSPI. All participants of a concert have shown the talents, pleased the audience with fine performances, thereby developing patriotic feeling of the audience and their pride of the country.

On December 11, 2017 students 3 courses of the specialty Biology of Department of natural sciences of NMF have spent the curator hour devoted to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Pupils of 1 course of the specialty Biology of the Kazakh, Russian and polylingual offices have been invited to an action. Students Tolegenova Kyzzhibek and Kamit Botа have presented to children a remarkable musical gift – kui Balbyrauyn. All participants of curator hour with pride have watched the video about a way of our state to Independence.
On December 6, 2017 in the 814th lecture hall at department of natural sciences the selection round of the subject olympiad among students of 2 and 3 courses on specialties "Biology" and "Geography" has taken place. The olympiad purpose is a identifications of quality of training of the let-out experts, fixing and increasing knowledge and abilities received in the course of theoretical and practical training, stimulation of creative growth, identification of the most gifted and talented students in a preparation profile, identification of future gifted teachers of schools. Teachers of department of natural sciences of Ruchkinа G.A. became moderators of this action., Baubekova G.K., Bozhekenova Zh.T., Rulyova M.M., Baymaganbetova B.B., Zagorulko V.V. 34 students have participated in the Olympiad.
November 30, 2017 at the Department of Natural Sciences, according to the work plan of the local lore club "Sayakhat" under the guidance of teachers, the master of geography Koval V.V., Zagorulko V.V., Zhusupova A.U. held a discussion and intellectual game on "Modern toponymic renaming: the pros and cons." Participants of the debates were students of the 1st and 4th year of the specialization "Geography": Pechorkina Marina, Sarkhanov Vladimir, Abatova Aziza; "Biology": Gadzhieva Sevil, Karpova Karina; "History": Zhanglysh Abylay.
On November 29, 2017 at department of natural sciences there has taken place the ecological action devoted to the World Day of Birdwatchers. Birdwatching – one of the most humane hobbies, a kind of ecotourism when the person just watches birds by means of the field-glass or with the naked eye. Birdwatchers divide themselves into two types. The first – professionals and those who have a certain knowledge base in ornithology. For them the berdvoching has scientific value more.
On November 23, 2017 on NMF there took place the seminar training dated for the World Campaign of fight about AIDS in RK – "The right for health". The event was held for the purpose of drawing attention of youth to a problem HIV / AIDS, knowledge risings and also formation of a healthy lifestyle. Health – the most valuable oof of mankind to keep and improve it in arms of each of us. The invited guests of an action told students about ways of infection and transfer HIV and AIDS, about opportunities of prevention of these diseases.
On November 23, 2017 on the specialty Chemistry of Natural and Mathematical Faculty there has taken place the action devoted to discussion of program article of the Leader Nation – N.A. Nazarbaeva, «Рухани Жаңғыру». Modernization of public consciousness became the central theme. During the discussion the questions of humanistic function of education and prospects of a technocratic era have been raised. Students and their curators actively discussed the methods of modern science and an innovation in an education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan connected with transition to a taxonomical pyramid of training and introduction of online magazines.
At department of natural sciences the open lecture classes by the high teacher Baubekova G.K. were given on October 10, 2017. on discipline Professional reference points of teachers on the subject "Estimation for Training and Training Estimation" for students of specialty "Biology" 4 courses, the B-14 groups. The subject of the lecture "Estimation for Training and Training Estimation" is one of seven modules which is included in the Program of advanced training courses. The purpose of a lecture occupation – to study the basic theoretical provisions, types of estimation in the modern education system, to be able to make criteria of estimation within a module study.
