On September 23, 2017 for first-year students of Natural and mathematical faculty "Initiation 2017" has been carried out. The action has begun with a solemn congratulation of the dean of faculty Sukhov M.V. Further children have gone to perform along a route tasks prepared by undergraduates. First-year students showed the unity, originality, the abilities and talents. Following the results of all competitions 3 teams of winners have been defined. Children were awarded with incentive prizes, a positive and an excellent charge of cheerfulness for all academic year!
On September 2, 2017 first-year students of natural and mathematical faculty have gathered on the celebratory assembly devoted to Knowledge Day and the Beginning of new academic year. Children have taken the first step in adulthood and it was their first student's holiday.
After an official part and the concert program first-year students have begun acquaintance to the curators and the faculty of faculty. For them have conducted a tour on laboratories, specialized offices and the museums on the basis of faculty.
On 9th, February, 2017 on the basis of faculty of NMF KSPI within a week of department the seminar for pilot group of the international ACADEMICA project (Accessibility and Harmonization of Higher Education in Central Asia through Curriculum Modernization and Development ACADEMICA Project No. 561553-EPP-1-2015-1-BG-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) co-financed by the European Union Erasmus + within a stage of courses on modernisation training programs was organized.
On February 8, 2017, lecturers and students of specialty 5B011200-Chemistry were invited to "Kazakhstan-Kostanay" TV channel to participate in the live broadcast morning program "Tobyl Tany". February, 8th is the birthday of the great Russian scientist, the author of the periodic law D.I. Mendeleev. Lecturers Abdykalikova K.A., Taurbaeva G.O. while a conversation with the hosts of the program were talking about the importance of chemical science in the development of society, the need for chemistry knowledge to maintain human health, about the achievements of the Department of Natural Sciences in training personnel for schools, scientific institutions and manufacturing enterprises. The conversation was also aimed at the vocational guidance of pupils. The students of Moldazhov Aziza, Baikalov Andrey, Tyrlybek Zhaina were talking about the reasons for choosing this specialty, their student life and their scientific interests.
The Convention on Wetlands, which has international significance primarily as habitats for waterfowl, was signed on 2 February 1971 in Ramsar, Iran and has since been known as Ramsar Convention. World Wetland Day firstly was celebrated in 1997. The main objective of Ramsar Convention is the conservation and rational use of wetlands as means of achieving sustainable development throughout the World. At present, 168 countries have joined Ramsar Convention. The list of water-marsh complexes of international importance includes 2186 wetland complexes with a total area of more than 208 million hectares.
On January 28, 2017, 30-hour English language courses for the teaching staff of the Computer Science and Computer Technologies Department of the KSPI were successfully completed within the framework of the ACADEMICA project (Accessibility and Harmonization of Higher Education ACADEMICA Project No. 561553-EPP-1-2015 -1-BG-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP), co-financed by the European Union "Erasmus +".

Within the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence, the Polylingual Center of KSPI has held an intellectual quiz in three languages «My Independent Kazakhstan. Менің Тәуелсіз Қазақстаным. Мой Независимый Казахстан.» The major goals of the measure were: demonstration and discussion of the main achievements and progress of Kazakhstan in 25 years of Independence, promotion of the patriotic ideas and strengthening of pride for the country.
On October 6, 2016 in the assembly hall of Kostanay state pedagogical institute was one of the traditional and most significant holidays for freshmen - "Dedication to Students - 2016". The congratulatory speech was delivered by the Acting Director Abil E .A, and also presented a student ID to Kyzyrinov Aidos and the holder of the "Altyn belgi" sign - Tassanova Gulzira.
