On March 12, 2016 Kostanay state pedagogical institute opened the regional debate tournament for the Cup of Rector of KSPI, dedicated to the program "100 concrete steps to the top thirty developed countries." The tournament was attended by 52 teams in the Kazakh league and 14 teams in the Russian league. The tournament was held at American and British styles of debates. During the event, relevant topics, dedicated political and social activity of youth activities, had been disclosed. Students actively participated in the debate and showed a high level of training.
On March 4, 2016 in the assembly hall of Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute a solemn event dedicated to the International Women's Day was taken place. Professor Baymyrzaev K.M., the rector of the institute, made the congratulatory speech and presented diplomas and monetary rewards to lecturers and staff of the Institute. The ceremony continued with concert performances of students of our institute.
On February 24, 2016 in the assembly hall of institute the open lecture of the Minister of Culture and sport, a doctor of art criticism, a doctor of philosophy (PhD), a owner of the Honorary title "Kazakhstan enbek sinirgen kayratkeri", the Honorable educator of RK Mukhamediuly Arystanbek with students of the Kostanay state pedagogical institute had taken place.
On February 23, 2016 a senior lecturer Abilmalikov K.K. and the KSPI chess club had organized competitions in checkers among the students living in the House of the Student. Checkers as one of the most intellectual games in the world, had attracted many persons interested to play this ancient game. Competitions had been held on circular system, each participant played with all players in checkers.
On February 15 and 19, 2016 in the assembly hall of the Kostanay state pedagogical institute there had taken place a quarterfinal of KVN games among teams of faculties of Russian and Kazakh leagues. According to the program, teams had prepared the competitions "Business card" (5 minutes) and Homework (3 minutes). All teams had carried out a big preparatory work which had helped them to disclose the creative skill and sense of humour. The semi-final will take place in March following the results of which it will become known what teams will reach the final on a cup of the rector of KSPI. We wish good luck at the further games!
On February 17, 2016 in the assembly hall of the Kostanay state pedagogical institute there had taken place the interfaculty review devoted to a Youth Day of Republic of Kazakhstan "Kyran zhigit - Akku кyz". Couples from each faculty participated in review. In such competitions of review as intellectual, sports, acquaintance and the art, couples had shown the skill.
On February 12, 2016 students of institute had taken part at a meeting in the Kostanay regional local history museum with the head of the Kostanay regional branch of "National Paralympic committee" D. Ospanov. At a meeting there were participants of the Paralympic Games - the Master of Sports of RK, the champion of the republic in firing from an air gun Svetlana Kim, and also the prize-winner of the RK Championships, the participant of the international competitions in table tennis Rustam Valitov.
On February 10, 2016 in institute there has taken place the "New Calls — New Reforms" conference with participation of leaders of student's self-government and students-activists. The subject of conference is closely connected with 5 institutional reforms and the Plan of the nation of the "100 concrete steps" declared by the Elbasy.
The Youth Day has taken place festively, solemnly, with songs and verses. On February 10, 2016 in audience of A-201 the dean's office has held festive event "Birthday of FFL". This holiday has rather small history, and originates from the moment of an exit of faculty of foreign languages from structure of philological faculty in January, 2013.
In our country since 2016 on February 9 it is officially declared by the Youth Day of Republic of Kazakhstan. Due to this date in the assembly hall of the hostel of Kostanay state pedagogical institute festive action which continuation was a competition "Karaoke" had been organized. At a competition deputy deans of faculties with the students had taken part. By results of a competition the 3rd place was taken by psychological-pedagogical faculty, the 2nd place – faculty of Kazakh and Russian philology, the 1st place – faculty of foreign languages.
