On March 2 at the department of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan there took place the third occupation at School of mediation devoted to psychological basis of school mediation. The senior teacher of the department of psychology Bisembayeva Asem Kumarovna acted as the moderator of occupation. Occupation took place in a training form, discussion methods, psychological exercises, mini-lectures, a reflection and individual tasks were applied that allowed occupation to have applied character. During the training, participants examined the main psychological practical methods used when negotiating studied methods of fast establishment of contact.
On February 23 at APK department the second occupation of the School of mediation and national diplomacy on the subject "History of Development of Mediation and National Diplomacy" took place. Since February at the department of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan there began the work the School of mediation and national diplomacy. Purposes of the school: to train students of the institute in the basic principles of mediation in the resolution of conflicts. It especially important to future teachers, the teacher at modern school performs not only the professional functions but also work of a mediator, resolving the school conflicts and accepting a possibility of their emergence. Classes are given by free of charge skilled teachers of the institute, and also experts and coaches on the mediation of the House of the friendship.
On February 3, in the Student's House - hostel No.3, the traditional chess and checkers championship among students of the Faculty of history and arts was held, dedicated to the important event taking place in Kazakhstan - the Universiade - 2017, where students from the KSPI will participate. The tournament brought together a lot of students who want to show their skills in these two old games. At the end of the tournament: in the women's league in checkers - 1st place was taken by the 2nd year student of the specialty "History" of Amambayeva Ainura. In the men's league of the checkers championship, the first place was taken by the 1st year student Abylaykhan Bakytzhan, the 2nd place - Taten Mulen, the third place - Gissa Zhanbota.
On January 31, 2017, Associate Professor of department of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan of KSPI, PhD Kozybayeva Mahabbat Malikovna participated in the international practical online conference "Multicultural education of the person as one of the priority areas of modern education", conducted on the basis of the branch of JSC "National Center for Advanced Training "Orleu" of the Institute for Advanced Training of pedagogical workers in Kostanay region ". The purpose of the online conference - the promotion of the best pedagogical ideas for ensuring the quality of education in a multicultural environment, the dissemination of advanced pedagogical experience and the professional skills of teaching staff.

On November, 30, 2016, there was a open lesson dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the theme "This President day" in the audience 508 with the participation of students of 1 course of Philological faculty (Kazakh Department). In the course of this class the information, relating to the biography of N. Nazarbayev and his policy papers, was shown: "Kazakhstan 2050", "100 steps", "Mangilik El", etc. Active participants in open class were students of 1 course of specialty "Kazakh language" Istileuova M., Nurlybai Indira.
On November, 29, 2016, a debate game hosted in auditorium A-203 with participation of students of 2nd courses Faculty of History and Art and Philological Faculty (Kazakh branch), timed to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the theme "Memlekettik baskaru zhuiesinin en uzdigi". During this lesson, the following questions features of the presidential form of government, the policy paper of the President of Kazakhstan were considered, such as: "Kazakhstan 2050", "100 steps", "Mangilik El", etc.
