On February 28, 2020, at the Faculty of Psychology and Education, a round table discussion “A person can know the world, his essence through his feelings and mind”, dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of the birth of Abu Nasyr al-Farabi, was held. The purpose of the round table is to explore the life and work of Al-Farabi, to focus youth on the spiritual and scientific heritage of the thinkers of the past of our state, in order to promote motivation to work honestly in our native country, to study and transmit our spiritual wealth from generation to generation.
In the program article of N. Nazarbayev "Looking to the future: modernization of public consciousness", the project "New humanitarian education was proposed. 100 new textbooks in the Kazakh language". As part of the project, the best textbooks were selected and translated into Kazakh. Since 2018, the library of the KSPU named after U. Sultangazin has received translated textbooks that are actively used in the educational process. So, within the framework of the methodological week of the Department of history of Kazakhstan, students - historians studying presented and discussed textbooks on history. At the beginning of the event, the head of the project office, G. Z. Balgabaeva, introduced information on the implementation of this project at our University.
So the first type of presidential all-around competition in the framework of the winter student’s universiade in Ust-Kamenogorsk ended. Our athletes returned with a whole bunch of awards of various merits. 11 medals, 2 cups, 15 diplomas were brought to the presidential all-around team of 8 people. At the station, our athletes were met by teachers and students of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The College hosted a meeting of future 2020 graduates in a spacious auditorium with an interactive whiteboard.
February 26, 2020 Senior Lecturer of the Department of IR & DT Dauletbaeva GB carried out career guidance work in the State Institution “Secondary School No. 10 of the Education Department of the Akimat of the city of Kostanay”, as part of the city conference “Bolashak eldin tiregi - rukhi askaz ziyatker Kalyptastyru”, to which she was invited as a jury of the section “Physics.Informatics”.
On February 26, 2020, a round table was held at the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, entitled “Issues of developing and updating educational programs based on the results of professional practices of students of the Physical Education and Sports EP with the invitation of employers and students who had completed the practice. The purpose of the round table was: making changes to the content of educational programs taking into account the needs of employers and the experience of professional practice of 3.4-year students.
So the first type of winter universiade competition in Ust-Kamenogorsk - the Presidential all-around - ended. This type of competition brought the first awards to the KSPU team. The team of youths on the basis of three days became the second. The team of girls following the results of three competitive days became the third. The program of the Presidential all-around competition included: skiing, shooting from airguns; pull-ups (for boys), abs exercise for girls.In the individual competition, Vyacheslav Makushenko - the international class master became the second and took first place in cross-country skiing. Shishkina Victoria master of sports also became the second in the individual competition among girls. Chernykh Natalya master of sports became the third at the stage of ski racing.
A foreign language as a subject has great potential in terms of developing learners' abilities for general and logical action and problem solving. To activate the creative abilities of students, it is necessary to improve the types and forms of learning activities (thematic) weeks, contests, quizzes, games, project activities, role-playing games, etc.). This will help to consolidate the material passed at the level of imaginative thinking. The week of the educational program provides for the participation of a wide number of students and includes a complex of activities, different in form and content, which are held during a certain period of time and are aimed at implementing the objectives of an integrated approach to the development, upbringing, and education of students by means of a foreign language.
On February 21, 2020, an intellectual English-language game called “It's Game” was held among 2-3-year students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Department of Natural Sciences, held as part of the week of the department together with the multilingualism center. The organizers of this game were teachers of the Department of Natural Sciences: Gubenko MA, Baimaganbetova BB, Bobrenko MA, Bozhekenova Zh.T., Koval V.V., Kozhmukhametova A.S., Taukelov Ch.A ., and also the head of the center of multilingualism Abisheva S.K.
On February 21, 2020, at the base of the U. Sultangazin Kostanay State Pedagogical University, the regional Olympiad in robotics among students of grades 9-11 was held for the first time. This event was organized by the regional scientific and practical center "Kostanay daryny" of the Education Department of the Akimat of the Kostanai region with the aim of identifying and developing students mastering general education programs of basic general and secondary education, creative abilities and interest in research activities; creating the necessary conditions to support gifted children; dissemination and popularization of scientific knowledge among young people; professional orientation of young people in the early stages of personality formation.
