From January 31 to February 1, 2017, an international round table "Strengthening the capacity of law enforcement agencies in countering violent extremism and radicalization leading to terrorism" was held in Astana, organized by JSC "Center for military strategic studies", in cooperation with the Office of Programs OSCE in Astana and the General prosecutor's office of Republic of Kazakhstan. The head of SEC "Mangilik El" of KSPI Shaimerden G.I. took part in the round table.
On October 31, the round table was taken place in Kostanay state pedagogical institute on the topic: Modern realities of school course "Secularism and religious foundations." The roundtable was attended by representatives of the Office of Religious Affairs of Kostanay region, KSPI lecturers, members of group "Center of religious study" and teachers of religious study of Kostanay region.
On October 26 members of the regional advocacy group of the Office for Religious Affairs and civil society Kalasheev V.I. and Abilmalikov K.K. made their presentation for the 1 st year students of KSPI. Vladimir Kalasheev devoted his speech to the characterization of a number of non-traditional religious movements destructive orientation. Abilmalikov K. explained about the recruitment methods and the psychological impact, that use adepts of destructive trends using the Internet. On October 19 and 20, 2016, the head of the SEC KSPI "Mangilik El" Shaimerden G.I. participated in the international scientific and practical conference in Omsk - "Kazakhs of Eurasia and their contribution to strengthening inter-ethnic harmony ". In his speech G. Shaimerden spoke about the specifics of Kazakhstani model of interethnic and inter-confessional tolerance and harmony. In addition, he highlighted the coverage of the current reforms that are currently being implemented in Kazakhstan and which are aimed at strengthening the interethnic harmony. In particular, the lively interest of Omsk colleagues was caused by the reform of the multilingual education, the course of which was proclaimed by the President of Republic of Kazakhstan. On October 14, 2016 in the conference hall of KSPI a regional meeting was held of leaders and members of the information and explanatory groups of universities, colleges, cities and districts of Kostanay region. Nugurbekov N.K, the head of the Department for religious and civil society affairs of Kostanay region, made a report on the results of the work of the IPG for 2016 and tasks for the upcoming 2017, which in his speech expressed special gratitude for the work done by the IRG KSPI - the Center for Religious Studies
On April 28 the delegation of students of KSPI led by members of RRC "Dіntanu ortalygy" Abilmalikov K.K. and Paniyaz T.P. participated in the regional scientific-practical conference "Islam zhane zaiyrly kogam". At the conference it was noted that religious education in the country should be organized in large quantities. It is necessary to cover all segments of the population.
On April 14, 2016 the head of - "Religious Center" Shaimerden G.I. gave a lecture to the heads of departments of Akimat of Karasu district, devoted to religious security of Kazakhstan. Modern religious situation in Kazakhstan and the main negative trends were highlighted. The second part of the lecture was devoted to the idea of a nationwide patriotic - "Mangilik El". G.
On March 16, members of scientific and educational center "Mangilik El" Shaimerden G.I. and Abenov D.E. gave a lecture devoted to the idea of a nationwide patriotic idea "Mangilik El" which was addressed to the employees of the akimat and the police department of Auliekol District. In their speeches, they pointed out that the rector Baymyrzaev K.M. opened a scientific and educational center - "Mangilik El", and the aim was the patriotic education of students.
On March 11, 2016 students' information and propaganda group "Erkіn pіkіr" made a speech to the students of Kostanay Polytechnic College. The performance of our students was dedicated to the topic "Mangilik El", revealing the main aspects of the national patriotic idea, on which the young generation will have to build a new Kazakhstan. The second theme was the problem of prevention of religious extremism and terrorism.
On March 3 in the Kostanay cooperative college the debut of the SIPG (student's information and propaganda group) "Erkin pikir" has taken place. Heads of group Abilmalikov K.K. and Abenov D.E are members of IPG of KSPI – "The center of religious studies". Performance of our students has been devoted to questions of involvement of young people in various destructive religious trends.
