Regional trainings aimed at increasing the potential of specialists working with young people were held at the recreation center «Aurora Garden» in Zerenda village (50 km from Kokshetau) from October 25 to October 27, 2018. Within the project of "Nur Otan" party - "English for Zhastar" this year several volunteers have been sent from the different areas of Kazakhstan to villages. On September 20 after the conference students have left to the appointed areas accompanied by the first chairman of the party of Nur Otan. The special room where classes are given in English has been allocated to students. In the first day students have held online testing for determination of level of language knowledge. Each student has created 2 groups (elementary and pre-intermediate), in each group till 20-25 of pupils.
One of the key issues is that today's young people are aware of the right choice of profession. In this context, it is important to pursue vocational guidance. October 23-25 this year, teachers of the Kazakh language and literature department visited the regional regions in order to organize vocational guidance among high school graduates. Teachers of the department G.A. Seysembay and T.T. Seisembay met with graduates of the Taranovsky District and the city of Rudny, BB Yesengazina and A.K. Abdrasheva met with graduates of the Mendykarinsky and Uzunkolsky districts and conducted career guidance.

On October 24, 2018, a traditional tour of first-year students of the specialty “Geography” of the Russian and Kazakh departments to the Geological Museum of the MD “SevKaznedra” took place. The head of the museum, Vera Petrovna, acquainted our students with the history of the creation of the museum, the diversity of its exhibits. So students learned that the geological museum was created in 1956 for purely professional purposes - accounting and storage of geological collection materials. It contains tens of thousands of samples, including rare minerals.
Teachers of the Department of Psychology and Defectology of Kostanay State Pedagogical University: Smagliy TI, Demisenova Sh.S., Toyimbetova DS they acted as members of the jury of the regional stage of the republican contest “Zerde” competition of research projects and creative works among students of grades 1-7.
