February 25 at the library center of Kostanay state pedagogical University of Umirzak Sultangazin the opening of the educational and methodical week of the Department of history of Kazakhstan. The purpose of the Week-education of students of historians at the city, regional level through the demonstration of methodical work of the Department. The Department will presented the work plan of the week with the participation of professors, teachers and students of social and humanitarian faculty.
From February 22 to 23 on the basis of Kostanay State Pedagogical University held a football competition for the cup of the rector of KSPU. 6 teams took part in the competition: Team of KSPU, KSPU-Zhastar, Avtodor, Team KSU, Team of industrial college, Team CSU Competitions were held for two days: qualifying February 22 and final games on February 23. In the final games of the cup, 4 teams met: KSPU, Avtodor, KSPU-Zhastar, KSU team: KGPU-Avtodor 4:2 KSPU-zhastar - KSU 4:2 KGPU-zhastar-Avtodor 5:2 KGPU - team KSU 3:3. In the battle for the first place, the team of KSU and KSPU came together with equal scores, and as a result, the team of KSU won on penalties (3:2).
February 23 in the Victory Park held city competitions in the technique of ski tourism. The event was organized by the Department of Theory and Practice of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the support of the Kostanay Regional Center for Physical Culture. 11 teams took part in the competition: 5 teams from the 1st year students of the specialties Physical Education and Sport and Tourism and other teams from the city’s schools. The distance consisted of 9 stages. The total duration of the distance was 2 hours.
On February 22, 2019 the meeting with Vishnichenko Valery Georgiyevich, a famous public and political figure of our area, associated professor of KSPU, candidate of historical sciences took place within an activity of the club of local historians. The event was organized and moderated by Samarkin S.V. - a scientific consultant of the club. Among the participants were teachers and students of KSPU and the Kostanay Pedagogical College. The meeting began with a television story about V.G. Vishnichenko, telling about him as a great organizer, politician, orator, creative person, wonderful family man.
The representative of the Research Centre of Religious Problems of KostanayDisyukov D.A. held prophylactic and explanatory conversation in February 22, 2019 in the lecture hall of Kostanay state pedagogical U. Sultangazin University with the first-year students of the specialties "Mathematics", "Geography", "Defectology" (45 people). The conversation was conducted in collaboration with the learning and educational center of language training of the philological faculty. The purpose of the meeting was the enhancing ofprophylactic work and the prevention of religious radicalism and religious extremism among young people.
February 22, 2019 in the House of Friendship of the Kostanay region a round table was held devoted to the article by the head of state Nursultan Nazarbayev “Seven facets of the Great Steppe”. It was attended by members of the CGA scientific expert group, students of higher educational institutions, representatives of the Akimat of the Kostanay region "Public Accord". The meeting was held by a member of the AIC and the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan, the Chairman of the Research Group, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Bekmagambetov A.S. Each speaker shared his thoughts on the history, culture, and modern youth policy of the country.
On February 21, 2019, within the framework of the educational and methodical week of the Department of foreign languages of the philological faculty, a meeting of students of the specialty «Foreign language: two foreign languages» with the founder of the network of educational centers «Edukey» in Kostanay and Astana Tolesh Magzum was held. Students learned about the prospects of education and vacancies in the educational center «Edukey» in Kostanay and Astana. For students of the Department of foreign languages of the faculty of Philology now have special conditions for training in new areas.
By a government decree on November 16, 2018, Kostanay State Pedagogical University was named after Umirzak Sultangazin. In this connection, on February 20, 2019, the students of 1-3 courses of the specialties “Foreign language: two foreign languages”, “Kazakh language and literature”, “History” have watched the film “Life history of Umirzak Sultangazin”. Umirzak Makhmutovich was a mathematician, academician of the Kazakh SSR Academy of Sciences, a doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, a professor, a Director of the Space Research Institute of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On February 15-17, 2019, the traditional northern international parliamentary debate tournament "KSU CUP XIII" was held in Kostanay State University named after Akhmet Baitursynov. The tournament was organized by Akhmet Baitursynov Kostanay State University and the ”Akhmet Urpaqtary” Debate Club. The tournament consisted of 5 qualifying rounds with access to the semi-finals, finals, as well as the Final of Young. In total, 48 teams were admitted to the tournament. The students of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology of KSPU named after U. Sultangazin took part in the debates in English: Diana Temirkhanova (2nd year), Aruzhan Timirbekova (1st year) and Zhanibek Utkelbaev (4th year).
From 1 to 15 February 2019, an international scientific training took place of teachers of natural-mathematical faculty of natural sciences department – Bragina T.M., Doctor of Biological Sciences, professor, Bobrenko M.A., Master of Biology, the head of SRC of Science and international relations office, Rulyova M.M., Master of Biology, senior lecture. The international scientific training was at the molecular lab of the Natural History Museum, University of Oslo (Norway). The training course was made possible by a grant from the participant of the international project of Professor Bragina T.M. on the development of innovative molecular genetic methods of studying insects.
