On January 28, 2019, was held the final of the internal university student competition “Startup“ Bolashak ”- 2019, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the university and the assignment of the U.M. Sultangazin. During January 2019, the department of science collected applications for participation in a project competition, and the Faculty of Physical Education set out 3 startups of the project for the qualifying round: studio souvenir image products "QMPU souvenirs" (authors Abdrakhmanova Gauhar, Shkvarenko Nikita Sergeevich); service for creating educational online quests "QostaQuest" (authors Zolina Alena, Sheludko Evgenia, Rakhmaev Denis, Shkvarenko Nikita Sergeevich); social startup “Paper - a second life!” (Valery Grigorieva, Valeria Vladimirovna Malshakova). Of the three works in the final represented 2 projects: quests "Qostaquest" and "Paper - a second life!".
From January 25 to January 27, in the city of Almaty, in the sports complex “Dostyk”, at the frames of the opening of the year of the youth and sports festival “Jastarfest - 2019”, was held the “All-Star Game”, organized and held by the National Student Basketball League. The 20 best players were invited to the match, according to the game statistics of the NBSL website, of the student basketball league players. Kostanay region was represented by 3 athletes, one of whom was a 2-year student of the specialty “Physical culture and sport” Kleschenkov Alexander.
International Day of Education is celebrated for the first time since 2019 around the world on January, 24. As part of the celebration of the International Day of Education, the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University together with the UNESCO Cluster Office in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan organized an online meeting, which was attended by the Council of young scientists and students of Kostanay State Pedagogical University named after U. Sultangazin, representatives of the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University, Zhetysu State University named after I. Zhansugurov.
On January 23, 2018y., on the regional television channel "Kazakhstan-Kostanay" in the program "Ak Oramal" a hot debate was held on the theme "The Ring of Ages" dedicated to the history of the kobyz instrument.The transfer was prepared as part of the discussion on the implementation of the program article by N.A. Nazarbayev "Seven Facets of the Great Steppe". The guests of the evening were residents of Kostanay - Alan Toiganov with a legendary kobyz instrument brought from Kyzylorda and having a 300-year history, Kydyrbek Kyskan, clairvoyant Aksuluapai.
In November 2018, KUTEL launched a new project, “KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITIES FOR IMPROVING QUALITY ASSURANCE PROCESSES IN TRAINING USING ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES.” This is the second international project in which Kostanay State Pedagogical University participates. Work in this project is designed for 3 years. The main objective of this project is to improve the quality assurance processes in training, through the use of modern educational technologies. In this regard, preparatory work has already been done to analyze the state of the quality of the educational process at the university and to analyze the use of modern educational technologies of education.
U.Sultangazin KSPU carries out systematic activities on the transmission of Nazarbayev Intellectual School (NIS) experience within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between U.Sultangazin KSPU and the Branch of “Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Kostanay” JSC (joint stock company) “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”, in several areas: advanced training and faculty training; the exchange of advanced educational experience with schools; development of a new design of educational programs in view of updating the content of secondary education.
At 18 january 2019 year in the Kokshetau State University of Shokan Ualikhanov was held international scientific and practical conference "Actual issues of source studies and the historiography of the Fatherland" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the famous in domestic and foreign education system scientist, doctor of historical Sciences, Professor, honored worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, academician of the Academy of history and social Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kadyrzhan Kabidenovich Abuev and the 25th anniversary of the formation of the historical education at the University.
On January 17, 2019, the meeting first-year students of the Natural and Mathematics Faculty was held. Dean of the faculty Shumeiko T.S. once more informed the students about changes in the system of evaluation of educational achievements. She focused students’ attention on the peculiarities of the re-examinations. Deputy Dean Baymaganbetova B.B. has acquainted first-year students with the results of the winter exam session. Then an open written survey of the students was conducted. In the survey, they expressed their views on the positive aspects of the educational process and made suggestions for its improvement.
The priority direction of the faculty of psychology and education is vocational guidance of students, familiarization with the world of professions. According to the established plan of work aimed at assisting the student in choosing a career, the curators of groups Zhandauovoy Sh. E. and D. H. Kushmurzina cossarini the students of the 1st course of the specialty "Preschool training and education" and 2nd year students specialty "Pedagogy and methodology of elementary education" (Kazakh Department) during the winter vacations held vocational guidance work.
On January 11, 2019, the Polylingual Center of the Philological faculty of KSPI, organized the cycle of master classes "Development of the pedagogical skills and English level improvement" for the teachers who are carrying out the pedagogical actvity in English. Teachers of the Educational language preparatory center of the Philological faculty of KSPU Kuskadamova K.S., were involved to holding this action. Integration of contents of the training program with teaching in English and improvement of the language competence of participants became the purpose of the program of master classes.
