February 27-28, 2015 in Almaty in the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages there was held Republican Olympiad on specialty "Foreign language: two foreign languages". Kostanai State Pedagogical Institute was represented by the team consisting of: Aldabergenova Dana, Ungutbaeva Aisha (English), Nenashev Gleb (German), Omarova Aiymgul, Khamzina Anara (French).

On February 27, 2015 within a week of the educational center of language training the Festival of foreign songs was held among first- and second-year students of all specialties. The goal: to cause interest of students in learning foreign languages and culture of the countries of the studied languages; to increase the level of scenic culture. The event was conducted in Kazakh, English and Russian. The necessary equipment, soundtracks "minus one" were used. The competition took place in lively atmosphere with constant support of the audience, and had great interest among students. At the competition there were 12 musical performances - solo, duets, trio. The quality of performance was estimated with the following criteria: pronunciation and phonetic correction, memorizing, tempo adherence, voice quality, scenic and performing mastery. The mark was given within a 5-point scale. The jury announced the following results:
On February 24, 2015 in Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute a meeting was held with representatives of the students of the Department of Kazakhstan Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption in Kostanay region on the theme: "The anti-corruption education and youth perspectives on anti-corruption policy of the country." The information was presented by the head of the secretariat of the Disciplinary Board of the Department of Kazakhstan Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption in Kostanay region Iskendirov Ashat Batyrzhanovich. Further, the meeting continued in the form of dialogue, students asked their questions on a given topic.
On February 24th at the gym of Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute was held a friendly mini-football competition between the team of "KSPI" and the team of the Azerbaijani diaspora of Kostanay region «STAR». Meeting was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan. Team of "KSPI" won the contest with a score of 12-7.
February 23, 2015 at the faculty of foreign languages specialist from the Center HLS R. Naukenova together with doctors of the regional tubdispensary had a talk with students on the topic "Prevention of colds and tuberculosis." They gave valuable advice on health preservation, and also distributed brochures and booklets with useful information.
The chair of the world history and the social sciences signed an agreement on cooperation with the teachers of the Alexandrovka ungraded schools on the basis of which was held a seminar “Problems of teaching local history in ungraded schools”, round table “Ways of interaction of ungraded schools with the university”.
February 21, 2015 The initiative group of KTL "A road to good deeds" held a charity fair in the regional history museum to help children suffering from cancel diseases. It was attended by the first-year students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
On February 21, 2015 teachers of chair of a world history and public disciplines including: head of the department of academic questions, candidate of pedagogical sciences Kifik N.Yu., dean of the distance learning faculty, candidate of historical sciences Samarkin S.V., candidate of historical sciences, professor DukhinYa.K., head of the department of world history and public disciplines, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Yarochkina E.V., a student of the 1 course of the specialty "Bases of the Right and Economy" Murzagaliyev Ruslanwere organized and held the event on a subject: "Features of teaching humanitarian disciplines in the ungraded school" on the basis of Aleksandrov ungraded school, were present teachers and pupils of Boris-Romanov schools.
On February 21 the sports hall of Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute took a sport event «Merry starts» among students living in the hostel. The main purpose of the event was attracting students to a healthy lifestyle. The tournament was attended by teams such as "Okzhetpes", "512", "Maximum", "Birlik", "Sunkar". There were various competitions and the jury had selected the strongest team. The winner of the tournament was the team of the 1st year students "Okzhetpes".
