The faculty of Additional education (From March 13 to March 25, 2017) on the basis of Sarykol agribusiness and law college organized the training seminar: "Modern Educational Technologies and Innovative Methods of Training in the conditions of Updating of Content of Education". Practical and lecture trainings were given by the teachers and specialists of institute: Samarkin S. V., Ishchanovoy R. S., Shalgimbekova A. B., Dauletbayeva G. B. Lovtsovoy D.P. and Abilmalikov K. K.
The faculty of Additional education (From March 9 to March 10, 2017) with the Karasu department of education's support organized the training seminar: "Modern Educational Technologies and Innovative Methods of Training in the conditions of Updating of Content of Education". The seminar was presented on the basis of SU "Karasu High School of Education department ". practical and lecture trainings were given by the teachers and specialists of institute: Samarkin S. V., Ishchanovoy R. S., Shalgimbekova A. B., Dauletbayeva G. B. and Abilmalikov K. K.
The facultyof Additional education arranged two-weeks advancedtraining courses (from February 6 to February 18, 2017) for teachers of schools,Higher education institutions and colleges. The theme was "Interactive trainingof foreign languages on the basis of new information and communication technologies".The questions were considered in the subject context:
- 1. Creation of the virtual educational environment on the interactive platformhttp://www.edmodo.com/ ;
- 2. Ensuringtechnical overall performance on the platform www.Edmodo.com;
- 3. Practicalmodeling of an interactive lesson of English with application of the virtualeducational environment.
The leadingteachers of institute gave practical training, master classes, consultationsand trainings courses.
16.02.2017 at the Polylingual Centre of KSPI was opened the brand-new “English Speaking Club”. The immersion in English language atmosphere, vocabulary expanding and increasing of spoken English level are the principal aims of this club. Speaking club’s participants have got acquainted with the main goals and objectives and club’s motto “Speak English only”. The procedure of the course included the movie watching, discussion, giving personal opinion and sharing ideas. English Speaking Club enables to communicate and spend time with benefit.
On February 16, 2017, opening of the School of mediation took place! With welcome speech to students of School of mediation addressed Samarkin Sergey Vladimirovich (the dean of the faculty of additional education), Karbenova of Zaure Urazbekovn (professor of the Russian and Literature department) and Navoyeva Marina Vladimirovna (mediator of RSU "Қоғамдік қелісім"). Sh. S. Demisenova cheerfully and in a playful way provided a training "Acquaintance of students of the school of mediation and national diplomacy".
By the order of Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan №44 dated February 1, 2017 «On awarding vacant educational grants freed up in the process of getting higher education» the vacant educational grants are awarded to the following students.
The first half of 2016-2017 academic year had methodical weeks of the following departments: Kazakh language and literature, Russian language and literature, the educational center of physical training, theory and practice of physical culture, sport and tourism. As part of the week the educational center of physical training there were 3 open classes, conducted by senior teachers Ageeva S.V., Zhumabaev A.N., Dosmukhamedov M.M., meeting between students of 1 course and the representatives of AIDS Center - Zhalbirova A.T., Koyshigulova A.Z. and methodical seminar on the theme "Monitoring of physical health of students" with the participation of teachers of physical culture of the city of Kostanay, and teachers of the Faculty of Physical Education, sports and tourism.
On December 6, 2016 the conference hall of Kostanay state pedagogical institute was the place for the roundtable on the topic "Cooperation between higher educational institution and employers as a condition of quality training of graduates." The roundtable was attended by representatives of the Department of education of Kostanay region, the city department of education of akimat of Kostanay, Kostanay state university named after A.Baitursynov, Kokshetau state university named after S.Ualikhanov, AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual school of physics and mathematics direction, Kostanay", principals of city schools, gymnasiums, KSU "Boarding school for gifted children "Ozat" of the Department of education of Kostanay region, Kostanay colleges, deans and heads of departments of KSPI.
The faculty of additional education of Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute from November 21 to December 3, 2016 has held 2-week qualification upgrading courses on the subject "Teaching and scientific research in the modern school" for teachers of universities, colleges and schools. In the context of this topic they have dealt with the issues of formation of intercultural competence in the classroom of foreign language, modern technologies and methods of working for communicative skills development, the basics of the scientific research at the school.
From November 24 to November 26 2016 Nurkhan Omarbekov, the employee of Department of additional education of Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Education, has attended language course of in-service teacher training by the objects "Physics", "Chemistry", "Biology", "Informatics" of secondary schools of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute.
