March 30, 2018 extended meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the higher education institution. The vice-rector for academic work and social issues Gulvira Musabekova moderated the meeting, reminding the audience that the university has started an active process of modernization of academic processes, including in the context of changing the status of the university, and every department and every department should take part in this process. The meeting continued according to the agenda.
Annually in March in all French Alliances at Embassy of France in Kazakhstan passes Week of francophone which in this year is renamed into Francophone Spring. This year it has been solemnly opened by Ambassadors of the francophone countries on the 1st March and will last until the end of April. Various competitions with involvement of students of the universities, pupils of schools and colleges are held within this action. The purpose of these actions is acquaintance with various francophone cultures, motivation French learning.
On February 9, 2018 within professional orientation work of education SU "Department of Formation of Akimat of Lisakovsk" for pupils of 11 classes of schools of Lisakovsk on the basis of high school No. 4 has organized holding an annual meeting with representatives of higher education institutions of the Kostanay region. Participants of a meeting of steel of 160 pupils of graduation classes of Lisakovsk, representatives of department of education, teachers and also representatives of higher education institutions of area, Kokshetau technical institute of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of RK and Lisakovsky technical college.
One of activities of higher education institution on formation of the contingent of students is holding timely and qualitative actions for the organization of reception of entrants. On February 7, 2018 employees of selection committee, EMF, SGF, PPF, with involvement of students activists have carried out professional orientation work at schools No 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 15, 19 of. Ore for the purpose of rendering information help to school students in the solution of professional self-determination.
Academician is a three-year project funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus Plus program. The project is carried out within the framework of the centralized activity "Capacity Building in Higher Education" -2015. The consortium of the project unites 17 organizations: educational institutions, ministries of education, communities from seven European and Asian countries - Bulgaria, Austria, Italy, Spain, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The second stage of the project was marked by the successful completion of the modernization of the first (winter) semester training courses in partner universities in Central Asia.
The Kazakhstan education system is in a condition of continuous modernization of basic elements: contents, technologies, organization, providing, and management. An important problem of our country facing teachers of all educational institutions is the introduction of innovative technologies in the educational process. Innovative activity creates a basis for the creation of competitiveness of the educational institution in the education market, defines the directions of professional growth of the teacher, his creative search, promotes the personal growth of pupils.
On January 11, 2018, a methodical seminar was organized by the Faculty of Additional and Distance Learning on the topic "Evaluation for Learning and Evaluation of Learning". The purpose of the seminar is to discuss the status of the evaluation pitch in the framework of updating the content of the school curriculum and to familiarize themselves with the experience of the evaluation work in the PI PML of Kostanay. The seminar discussed the theoretical foundations of formative and summative assessment, the problems of introducing and using these types of assessment in the learning process in school.
On the basis of International Information Technology University (Almaty, Kazakhstan), the fifth meeting was held in the period from 23 to 24 November 2017 within the framework of the international project "ACADEMICA" (Curriculum Modernization and Development-561553 -EPP-1-2015-1-BG-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP). The meeting was attended by teachers and leading experts of this University. 33 delegates from the partner countries took part in the discussion on the stages of curriculum modernization, made presentations according to the agenda. The reports were presented by the project manager from KSPI – M.V.Sukhov, c.t.sc., Dean of the Science and Mathematics Faculty; the project researchers: N.Yu.Kifik, c.p.sc., Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.
On November 16, the professional group of KSPI left to Zhitikara. We formed a team from among employees of selection committee, teachers of natural and mathematical, social and humanitarian and psychology and pedagogical faculties and also students of institute – graduates of schools of Zhitikara 2016-2017. To render the help and assistance in the choice of specialty and also to attract future entrants in institute, we visited high schools #2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 12 and a gymnasium, covered professional oriented work about 200 people.
November 15, 2017 in the Assembly hall of the pedagogical Institute held a "Job fair", organized by the Center for multilingualism in collaboration with the Department of foreign languages for students of the faculty of Philology of the specialty "foreign language: two foreign languages". The meeting was conducted by representatives of the language center "Grand Luxe" for the purpose of further employment of future graduates, employees of the center presented information on vacancies of translators, English language teachers, managers of international Department, also spoke about international programs and internships, opportunities to learn and improve English.
