On 5 February 2018 Balzhanova Aigul Magzhanovna, senior teacher of the foreign languages department of Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute, conducted the workshop «Teaching foreign language at primary school in the context of education modernization» for the second- and third- year students of Kostanay college "Zerek". The goal of the workshop is to discuss the methodical maintenance of pedagogical practice at school, usage of modern technologies for teaching English at primary school in the context of realization of the education modernization program.
During the period from January 26 to February 2, 2018 the polylingual center of the Philological faculty of the Kostanay state pedagogical institute has held an Internet competition of the compositions "My native country" within the national program "Ruhani Zhangyru" for the purpose of patriotic education of students and involvement in process of studying of three languages. The competitive works were accepted in three languages. Students of KSPI participated in the competition. In total have been sent more than 20 competitive works. On the end of a competition, on February 2, 2018, the results were summed up: the first place - Temirkhanova Diana, Zharaspayeva Aygerim, the second place - Ismagulova Aygerim, Kenzhebekova Tansholpan the third place- Tumanova Zarina.
On 31st January the 1st year students of the specialty 5B011800 "Russian Language and Literature" met with a journalist of the regional newspaper "Our Newspaper". Her name is Tatyana Nazaruk. The journalist told the students about the characteristics of the work, about the professional and personal qualities of good journalist, special education. She noted that philological education was a priority thing for a journalist, because a philologist has knowledge of the language system, literary norms, stylistic features, culture of speech. Tatiana told the history of the formation of "Our Newspaper", the editorial staff, the headings, the site.
January 31, 2018 at the Faculty of Philology, the Chair of Kazakh Language and Literature, the head of the literary and creative circle "Balaus" Aliya Қажымұқанқызы Абдрашева and active participants of the circle students of the second year Kyzyrinov Aidos, Ihsan Daniyar, Eshmamet Kalpan, Sagieva Symbat organized a literary and creative evening, dedicated to the young poets "Syrly zherek pernesi". The purpose of the event is to present the creative path of young poets such as Sayat Abenov, Abylai Maudanov, Erlan Zhunus, Bakdaullet Arystan, who are a good personality in Kazakh poetry and the propagation of cardiac works for young readers.
31.01.2018 The Kazakh language and literature department organized a meeting with schoolchildren of the 11th grade of secondary schools of Mendykarinsky, Uzunkulsky, Amangeldinsky, Altynsarinsky district of Kostanay region. During the meeting, the students were given information about the specialties of the philological faculty of KSPI. It was said about the advantages of pedagogical specialties, specialties "Kazakh language and literature", "Kazakh language and literature in schools with non-Kazakh language of instruction", the competence of these specialties and their professional activities. Questions of students were answered.
A regional tour of the spelling competition of English words called“Kazakhstan Spelling Bee 2018”, organized by the US Embassy in Kazakhstan was held on the January 28th, 2018 on the basis of the American Corner of the Regional Library named after L.N. Tolstoy. The main goal of the competition is motivation to learn English and develop intercultural cooperation. More than 40 students of universities and colleges of the city took part in the competition. The main rule of the competition included the pronunciation of the word pronounced by the jury, spelling by letters without errors and pauses. With each round of words spelling, the participants who made mistakes were eliminated.
On 26st January a lecture on the current topic: "We are learning to live in a multi-faceted world (on extremism and terrorism)" was spent in the Ostrovsky town library. The lecturer was Disekov Diaz Armanovich. He is a head of the information-explanatory and organizational work of the KSU "Center for the research of religious problems of the Kostanay Region". The lecture was attended by 1st year students of the specialty 5B011800 "Russian language and literature". The lecturer explained the terms terrorism and extremism, revealed their peculiarities, determined the differences.
On 26st January, 1st year students of specialty 5B011800 «Russian Language and Literature» held a charity event in «Kostanay Zoo Pulse». Curator Matershova A.I. was set a goal to carry out charity events in «Kostanay Zoo Pulse» in the framework of the social project "Heart to heart" for the study year. The students bought food and took it for homeless animals. The volunteers of Kostanay Zoo Pulse thank the participants for helping of the social project «Heart to Heart». Students and curator were prepared booklets in three languages about the activities of the shelter. On 26st January the participants of the social project «Heart to Heart» distributed booklets to students for popularizing information of activities of the shelter for homeless animals.
On 25st January students of the 1st and 3rd year of the specialty "Russian language and literature" visited a school of speed-reading and development of intelligence "Unicum" together with the curators Matershova A.I. and Koval O.V. Teachers of the school acquainted students with the specifics of studies on the development of intelligence, told about courses – speed-reading, mental arithmetic, robotics, English. Particular attention was paid to mental arithmetic. This is unique system of development of mental abilities. Mental arithmetic is based on the verbal account system. A child learns to solve complex arithmetic problems in a few seconds, it was shown to students by the pupil of the school "Unicum".
On 19st January was spent an intellectual game of first-year students of a specialty 5B011800 "Russian Language and Literature". The goals – to analyze text of the message, to develop patriotism.The students disassembled the text of the Message, clarified the aspects of the social policy, the education, languages, the healthcare, noticed the achievements of the past with curator. After an intellectual game was conducted. The students was trying to give right answers. The curatorial hour was interesting, the work was productive.
