October 31, 2018 at the Department of Psychology and Defectology of the KSPU passed an international round table «Psychological features of adult education foreign language». With a welcoming word to the participants of the round table, the Dean of the PPF, N.A. Aidnalieva, addressed the priorities of the linguistic situation in Kazakhstan. The experience of learning by adults and young people of a foreign language in Slovakia presented by the vice-rector of the KSPU Eva Smetanova was interesting for discussion.
On October 31, 2018, a charity fair was held in support of Victoria Shishkina, who recently turned a year! She was diagnosed with congenital renitopathy; the girl sees absolutely nothing. The operation, which can give the girl a chance to see this world in all colors, requires a rather large amount - 500,000 tenge. The fair was organized by the students of the faculty of physical education, sports and tourism with the support of the University's upbringing department! On October 31, 2018 Kostanay State Pedagogical University was visited by Counselor of Cooperation and Cultural Activities of the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan Lor Casten and Jeremy Kamponovo, a representative of the international center Valbonne. The purpose of the visit is to extend the cooperation agreement of the KSPU with the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan. Under this agreement, the Embassy undertakes to support in every possible way KSPU in the development of educational and cultural ties. Mrs. Casten also met with students, French teachers and answered many questions..
A practical seminar was held on the topic “Features of the organization of scientific research at school” by Ph.D., associate professor of the KSPU Pchelkina T.R. in cooperation among Department of Russian Language and Literature and Physico-Mathematical Lyceum from 29.10.18 to 10.31.18. Issues of to typical errors in student projects, the choice of topical issues, the justification of the novelty of the research, the choice of methods, the search and processing of scientific information during the seminar were discussed.
Kostanay State Pedagogical University represented by the rector Ye.B.A. and Kifik N.Yu. Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism participated in the exhibition of the projects of the Erasmus + program together with KSU. Ch.Valikhanov (Kokshetau) and Kokshetau University. A.Myrzahmetova. At the exhibition, we presented the joint work done on the ACADEMICA project. All materials that were developed over the course of three years during this project were presented. This was how Compendium ACADEMICA was introduced, developed in two languages in Russian and English; also interim project reports in two languages; presentations of electronic courses within the project; modernized syllabus, electronic course for teachers; project brochures; nine information letters reflecting the main stages of the project activities.
Regional trainings aimed at increasing the potential of specialists working with young people were held at the recreation center «Aurora Garden» in Zerenda village (50 km from Kokshetau) from October 25 to October 27, 2018. These activities are being implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan with grant support from the World Bank in the framework of the second component of the Youth Corps Development Project “Institutional Development Development of the MES RK in the implementation of youth policy” (Zhas project) with the aim of encouraging the involvement of young people in the community and developing skills through community service training, for the benefit of the community, especially among vulnerable groups, bowl.
On October 26, 2018, the Office of Science and International Relations together with the Office of Internal Policy of the Akimat of Kostanay Region and the Civil Alliance of Kostanay Region “GrIn” organized a round table on the topic: “Spiritual modernization as a key factor in the development of Kazakhstan in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution” whose main objectives were: raising the level of ensuring the nation’s unity and strengthening Kazakhstan's patriotism with the involvement of the scientific community.
October 26, 2018 in the History Lab (221 cabinet) held a regular meeting of the club of local historians with the participation of students of Kostanay state pedagogical University and Kostanay pedagogical College. Scientific consultant of the club - Dean of the faculty of additional and distance education, candidate of historical Sciences Sergey Samarkin provided information about famous people of our region, held and upcoming events with the participation of local historians. Within the project of "Nur Otan" party - "English for Zhastar" this year several volunteers have been sent from the different areas of Kazakhstan to villages. On September 20 after the conference students have left to the appointed areas accompanied by the first chairman of the party of Nur Otan. The special room where classes are given in English has been allocated to students. In the first day students have held online testing for determination of level of language knowledge. Each student has created 2 groups (elementary and pre-intermediate), in each group till 20-25 of pupils.
One of the key issues is that today's young people are aware of the right choice of profession. In this context, it is important to pursue vocational guidance. October 23-25 this year, teachers of the Kazakh language and literature department visited the regional regions in order to organize vocational guidance among high school graduates. Teachers of the department G.A. Seysembay and T.T. Seisembay met with graduates of the Taranovsky District and the city of Rudny, BB Yesengazina and A.K. Abdrasheva met with graduates of the Mendykarinsky and Uzunkolsky districts and conducted career guidance.
