On 28st September students of the specialty "Russian Language and Literature" took part in the conference of readers dedicated to the creation of I. Shchegolikhin, a well-known Kazakhstan writer. Members of the problem group "Creativity of Russian-speaking writers of Kazakhstan in the context of the modern literary process" took an active part in the discussion. The students got acquainted with the book: "I do not want, I do not call, I do not cry." Opinions about the work of the Kostanay author were expressed.
On the 22d of September 2017 Lovtsova D. P., Plokhotenko V. N. and Serzhan-Abdrakhmanova S. K., senior teachers of the educational center of language training and education of Philology faculty, conducted the event devoted to the Day of Kazakhstan nationalities’ languages. The students of philological, psychological and pedagogical, socio-humanitarian faculties, the faculty of Natural sciences and the faculty of physical culture, sports and tourism of Kostanay state pedagogical institute showed their talents in singing songs and reciting poems in Kazakh, Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish languages. The Day of Kazakhstan nationalities’ languages is truly becoming a national holiday, which contributes to the strengthening of the spiritual unity of citizens, education of the younger generation in the spirit of Kazakhstan patriotism on the basis of equal rights and opportunities for all nationalities.
At the faculty of additional education at Kostanay state pedagogical institute from May 22 to June 3, 2017, for teachers of HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS, colleges and schools have completed 2 weeks advanced training courses on a subject: " students' critical thinking development". In the context of this subject questions of philosophy of a project "critical thinking development through reading and writing", effective methods of collective learning, modern technologies and techniques of work for the development of critical thinking of students were considered. The leading teachers of Institute gave a practical training, master classes, consultations and group discussions.
On March 3, 2017, the center of the Multilingualism of KSPI summed up the results of the Internet competition of compositions devoted to the International Women's Day on March 8. More than 90 school students and students of colleges and higher education institutions from all Kostanay region participated in the competition. The most active part was taken: Kostanay Building College, Schools #3 and 4 of Lisakovsk, Sarykol College of agribusiness and right, school #2 of Fedorovka district, the gymnasium of S. Maulenov. The age of participants of the competition varied from 7 to 19 years. The presented works differed in a stylistic, substantial, language and creative variety. All of them are impregnated with huge love and gratitude to the mothers.
Lecturers of Russian Language and Literature department of Kostanay state pedagogical institute participated as a jury in the work of the subject sections of the VI regional scientific and practical conference of pupils named after T.E. Dauletbaev "The intellectual potential of the younger generation - the key to successful industrial and innovative development of Kazakhstan", which was held on February 7, 2017 in state institution "Physics and mathematics lyceum of the Department of education of akimat of Kostanay". Lecturers of the department have been actively cooperating with the administration and pedagogical staff of this educational institution for many years, conducting joint seminars, directing scientific projects of teachers and students.
In the period from January 23 to 28, 2017, on the basis of Kostanay state pedagogical institute, the pre-diploma practice for Poluyanova E.A. was organized at Foreign Languages Department. Poluyanova E.A. is the 2nd year undergraduate student of the full-time department of the 626 M group, direction - "Pedagogical education" of the master's program "Language Education" of the Federal State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Education "Shadrin state pedagogical university" (Scientific adviser of the ShGPU - Suvorova S.L., Doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, head of the German language department and methods of its teaching).
On January 27, 2017, on the basis of Kostanay state pedagogical institute at Foreign Languages Department, a training was organized for teachers by a 2-year master's degree program in a full-time department of the 626 M group, directions for the preparation of the "Pedagogical Education" of the Master's Program "Language Education" of the Federal state budget educational institution of Higher Education "Shadrin state pedagogical university". This training was conducted within the framework of an international project between Shadrin state pedagogical university and Kostanay state pedagogical institute (project manager - Danilova V.V.).
On January 26, 2017 in Kostanay, the ceremony of the fire of the 28th World Winter Universiade was held. The main goal of the Universiade - the further mass development of physical culture and sports in higher educational institutions, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. Students are the main part of this project, because they organize competitions and cultural events in order to make students and other representatives feel like a single sports student's family. At 14:00 the procession solemnly passed along Taran street, near the building of Kostanay state pedagogical institute. Athletes carried a torch through the streets of the city. Active participation was received by the 2nd year students of the Department of Russian Language and Literature and curator of the group Koval O.V.
On January 5, 2017, on the basis of Kostanay College of the Service Sector of Education Department of the Akimat of Kostanay region, a regional seminar "Organization of the writing of scientific works of students in schools and colleges" was held. Within the framework of this seminar, Danilova V.V., Ph.D., Master of pedagogy and psychology, a senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of KSPI, spoke in the "English Language" section. Topic of the section: "Scientific work for pupils: organizing, planning and monitoring".
During the period from December, 7th till December, 14 at the department of foreign languages of Kostanay state pedagogical institute there was organised a competition on the best patriotic photo among students of the 4th course. This competition is devoted to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main requirements of the competition included: creativity, originality of composition, idea depth, mass character of participation. The organizers of the competition are T. Bobreshova, the student of 45ER group and V.V. Danilova – the advisor of the group.
